You can only use one of those methods inside a VolplaneBehaviour instace.

        if(!adWasShown)
            Debug.Log("AirConsole advertisement skipped...");
    }
}

Is called when an AirConsole advertisement has completed (requested by RequestAd()). This event will be called even if the advertisment was skipped, for example due a connected AirConsole Hero player.

adWasShown Boolean indicating if the ad was shown.
